Sierra and Lucas first met as high school students at Cambridge Rindge and Latin - Sierra was class of 2011 and Lucas class of 2012. They had many mutual friends but never spent time together outside of school. They most closely crossed paths in the spring of 2011 when they had AP European history together. They have no memories of any interaction during this time, but have been able to unearth some pretty great Facebook messages in which they discuss class and share some friendly (or rather, flirty) chat. Thank god for digital footprints.

Lucas deleted his Facebook years ago, but luckily their messages remain as does a single comment Sierra left on someone’s status proclaiming her love for Lucas.

Fast-forward to May 2019 when Sierra attended Boston Calling music festival. She was in the crowd seeing artist Betty Who when her old classmate, Brenna, tapped her on the shoulder. Brenna was there with some friends from Rindge and invited Sierra to come back and say hello to everyone. One of Brenna's friends at the festival with her with was none other than Lucas. Sierra and Lucas chatted and thought about each other nonstop afterward.

A few months later, Lucas found Sierra on Instagram and reached out by bravely commenting three fire emojis under one of her photos. This prompted Sierra to message him "I've been looking for you!” to which he responded “you found me!”

Find each other they did.

They went on their first date a few days later at White Horse Tavern.

Sierra and Lucas live together in Cambridge with their two cats, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hera Syndulla, along with their extensive Wedgwood and Star Wars memorabilia collections.
